Fortress Solitaire

Fortress Solitaire is a solitaire card game where all 52 cards in the deck are initially dealt into 10 piles. 8 of the piles contain 5 cards, and 2 piles contain 6 cards. No cards are initially dealt to the foundations so the player may choose the starting card for the foundations. The piles may be built up or down regardless of suit, and the foundations must be built up by suit. In traditional Fortress Solitaire, once the player chooses a card to put into the foundation, all foundations must initially be filled with a card of the same suit. In this version, an empty foundation can be filled with any card that is of a suit that has not yet been placed in a foundation.
